Unfortunately, this means that she won’t have a date for her sister’s wedding.PROS: I thought Julia’s first reaction to seeing Derek was hilarious. I liked both of them. I liked the unique twist of her having a solid career and him being the one in position of just starting out. I liked the extended epilogue that really showed you their future together.
CONS: The way Derek talked was occasionally too sappy. I thought the way he was talking about Julia at her sister’s wedding would have been annoying to the bride since he was basically stealing the spotlight.
4 STARS: Good story. I enjoyed the romance between Julia and Derek.

this is the first book that I have read about an escort in I love it I love that they found love in a weird awkward situation and had three lovely kids,You did a fantastic job can't wait to read more of your material..
I will admit that this was different for me. To be honest I'm not sure how I feel about this book! I DON'T hate it though! I'm a fan of Alexis work so this was just different. I would recommend this and let people remark for themselves. I say KEEP BRINGING THEM!😊
I do love HEA books. I love taking the journey with the H and h and feeling what I imagine they are feeling. I was looking for something that would read good without a whole lot drama. This was it! I am happy with how the author let the reader know how and what the H and h are doing in life later. One little thing... I kind of thought that Derek was beginning to lay it on a little too thick at the wedding.
I totally enjoyed reading this romantic story. Normally not my thing without a few paranormal beings. This story was very romantic without being too mushy. It had all the elements for a good read. I loved Derek from the first time he entered the scene. He was patient and understanding of Julia's problem. He wanted her success and gave his all.
This is the first time I've read a BWWM romance with th quality of a fairytale without all the pomp & circumstance. I felt as though I became a part of the story and the ending is a good fit. Thank you for that and for sharing your talent with us your fans/readers. Sincerely
Arc review. Julia is under pressure to secure a date for her younger sister's wedding. She is not looking forward to the constant barge of question of when she is going to get married and start a family. So she hires a male escort to pretend to her ex Theo. Derek her pretend date starts to develop feelings for her. I loved reading this book I just wished it was longer. Great job done by Alexis Gold.
I do like the fact that there weren't pages and pages of explicit sex scenes. The story was sweet and the characters were well developed but I think there were several leads the author could have used to make the story a little more exciting. Without giving away any of the story, there were a couple of other g err people'm e in the story who could have been played up a bit for some extra twist and turns. This author is a good writer and I will get more of her work
